Power Team 2027 - More than Just Pretty Pictures
Hi there - I'm Angie, a senior photographer based in Spring, Texas. I specialize in capturing those fleeting moments that truly express your daughter's personality and spirit. If you're not familiar with my work, I encourage to check out my Google reviews, or simply scroll my Facebook or Instagram accounts for a glimpse of my work.
Each session is an opportunity to create lasting memories. My goal is to provide stunning images that will bring joy today and evoke nostalgia for years to come.
As part of my model rep team, your daughter will experience an extraordinary senior year filled with beautiful portraits and unique confidence-building events. Together, we’ll plan fun mini sessions, serve our community, and even participate in a self-defense class. It's going to be a fun year!
-
What is the Power Team?
-
Power Team is a senior model representative program designed to provide a positive, confidence-building senior year experience through fun photo shoots, community involvement, and meeting girls from other schools. 2027 will be my eighth year offering a model rep program - it's been a great ride so far!
In the past, I've had girls from various high schools including Bridgeland, Concordia Lutheran, Klein Cain, Klein Collins, Klein Oak, and Oak Ridge.
-
What is the financial commitment?
-
- A $250 sign-on fee is required upon commitment to the team.
-
Power Team members choose one of three standard packages from Angie Read Photography.
-
Pricing is the same for Power Team members and regular senior clients; however, Power Team members enjoy exclusive perks and opportunities.
-
Payment plans are available to help families budget towards their photo packages. My payment plan is similar to a layaway plan, where you're able to make monthly installments in advance, that you later use towards your purchase.
-
What does the sign on fee cover?
-
- Administrative, venue fees and traveling costs
-
Model team planning and coordination
-
Mini sessions and team experiences
-
Is this program safe and age appropriate?
-
Yes. All of our events are created to be positive, respectful, age appropriate and encouraging. The focus of the program is confidence, kindness, friendship, and community involvement. There are no inappropriate themes, locations, or expectations.
-
Are there quotas or sales requirements?
-
No. There is no requirement for Power Team members to meet booking numbers or push friends to book sessions. I love receiving referrals from my Power Team and incentivize them with a financial bonus for referrals. But there are certainly no requirements to do so.
-
Are social media posts required?
-
No. There are no required posts for social media. While many students enjoy sharing images on social media because they had a great experience and love their images, posting is not a requirement as part of the program.
-
How many girls will be selected for Power Team 2027?
-
Power Team ’27 is intentionally limited. Applications are reviewed individually, and not every applicant will be selected. The goal is to create a positive, connected group that is the right fit for the program. Specifically, I'm looking for girls who are kind, genuine, and are plugged into other activities within their school, church, or outside organizations.
In the past, my Power Teams have ranged in size from 6 to 16. I've found my sweet spot to be around 10 girls.
-
Does my daughter have to use Angie Read Photography for their senior portraits?
-
Yes. Power Team members must commit to using Angie Read Photography as their exclusive professional senior photographer during the program period (Winter 2026 through Graduation 2027). They may not book another professional senior photographer during this time.
Team and activity photography for school activities and outside organizations is the only exception. E.g., Legacy League, FFA, team and cheer portraits
-
What is the time commitment?
-
Participation includes occasional mini sessions, meet-ups, and community service opportunities throughout the year. Dates are communicated well in advance, and participation is designed to fit alongside school, sports, and extracurricular activities (based on polls within our GroupMe app).
I would love 100% participation but realize with the girl's busy schedules that is not always possible. Attendance to our first Welcome & Planning meeting is mandatory, otherwise all other events are optional based on schedules.
-
How does the application process work?
-
- Students complete the application with parent approval
-
Applications are reviewed individually
-
Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule a meeting with a parent and the Power Team applicant. We'll meet at a coffee shop - my treat!
- Final decisions are made after the meeting
