POWER TEAM

Power Team, my high school senior model program, is all about community, friendships, and empowerment! It is a unique model rep program because there are no lists of tasks, requirements, or quotas for my Power Team. Power Team is an experience for senior girls that will elevate their senior year even more, AND it's full of perks and benefits that only Power Team members receive!

My Power Team is about helping to build confident and strong individuals...it's about YOU!

Power Team is for the Senior who: 

  • KNOWS she wants her senior portraits taken by Angie Read Photography.

  • ENJOYS being in front of a camera and having fun mini sessions.

  • LOVES socializing and building friendships with girls from other high schools through meet ups, mini sessions or community service events.

  • IS COMMITTED to helping out in the community, improving someone else's life, and enriching their own.

It will be an amazing experience that will make senior year the BEST it can be!


The financial requirement for a Power Team member is a $250 sign on fee, to be paid upon commitment to the team, along with a signed contract. There is also a $800 minimum purchase requirement of beautiful photo products that will be chosen during the Reveal and Order session, which follows the senior portrait session.

The biggest difference between a Power Team member and a regular senior client are the PERKS and OPPORTUNITIES!

Backyard Garden Mini Session

Flower Farm Mini Session

Project Beauty with Power Team '22

Project Beauty

My last mini session theme with my Power Team '22 was Project Beauty.  Project Beauty is a movement within the senior photography industry, started by a photographer in my hometown of Cincinnati, Thomas Nguyen.  The purpose of this theme is to remove the stigmas of "beauty" that society and social media have imposed, and instead let beauty radiate from within our heart and soul.   There is no makeup, no fancy hair, and no editing out imperfections.  Being your raw self in front of a camera can no doubt be intimidating for anyone, but especially for high school girls. 

My model team votes on which mini session themes we do throughout our year together, and I have to honestly say that I was surprised this one ranked high on their list.  But when I reflect on the type of girls that are on my team, then it really does make sense.  They ALL have hearts of gold, are independent, and have the confidence in themselves to go make up free in front of the camera.  

 

 

Perks and Opportunities

  • Opportunity to receive a BONUS mini session with a theme of your choice (family, BFF, or pet session, etc.).  This bonus session is earned by participating in a monthly payment plan, which parents will appreciate!   

  • Opportunity to participate in all the mini photo sessions.  We've chosen a variety of session themes in the past:  wild flowers, sunflowers, urban, studio,  patriotic mini, Mother's Day, holiday, boho theme, etc.  We've partnered with local boutiques for some of the mini sessions.  We'll take a vote on what YOU want to do and plan the mini session based on how the team ranks each theme.

  • Opportunity to participate in empowering events throughout the year, e.g., a self defense class, a "Power" event with guest speakers on a variety of topics.

  • Opportunity to participate in community service events.  We've done a variety of service projects, including preparing food for Hope Beyond Bridges, decorating and filling snack bags for Meals on Wheels, gathering gently used and new donations for Cy-Hope, among many others.  

  • Opportunity to earn cash through client referrals!

The commitment my Power Team members need to make to me is to commit Angie Read Photography as their senior portrait photography, and that they will not be photographed by another senior photography during the time commitment of this program (winter of junior year through graduation).  

Being on my Power Team is a commitment that comes with personal rewards and great perks!  

If you have a Class of 2024 senior who would love to be a part of my Power Team, please fill out the team application below to get on my waiting list.  I start actively recruiting in December/January, and typically finalize my team by March of their junior year in high school.

Senior year is one of the most special and memorable times in our life, and my goal is to help make it even more fabulous for this group of seniors!
